When working with clients to develop and co-create the storyboard for the powerpoint slide deck, working on paper helps the brainstorming process. You can capture thoughts and ideas real time in the first meeting as you are identifying the client brief.

This allows you to create a straw man that your client can see visually and identify with, providing you with valuable feedback, to confirm if you are on the right track.

You can leverage this process when developing the visuals for the slides, sometimes we have a tendency to go for the first suitable image we find in image search. Taking your clients key message for each slide you can then select a more powerful and appropriate image - one that will resonate with the audience and create an emotional response.
